During this four-week hands-on course, we covered Idea Generation, Content Collection, Production, and Distribution. Students were challenged to create zines that would serve as platforms for self-discovery, community building, and/or collective activism. Each participant left the course having completed at least one zine

Over the course of three weeks, students developed a creative brief leading to the production of a Public Service Announcement which were disseminated through social media. Students were not graded on their PSA’s popularity but instead but they learnt from the process.
